Thanksgiving is not merely a ritual; it is a powerful spiritual practice that opens the gates to divine insights. Psalm 92 highlights the significance and possibilities of remaining in a place of thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is the key to entering God's presence. Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) states, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name."
When we give thanks, we align ourselves with God’s will and open ourselves to His divine plans and purposes for our lives. Every challenge we face is within God’s knowledge, and He has an opinion on it. Through thanksgiving, we can access His thoughts and perspectives.

Only the Spirit of God knows His thoughts. When we engage in heartfelt thanksgiving, we invite the Holy Spirit to reveal God’s thoughts to us. 1 Corinthians 2:11 (NKJV) says: "For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God."
This is why at New Covenant Assembly, every prayer begins with thanksgiving because it is the divine protocol for accessing God’s presence and thoughts.
Sometimes you may find it difficult to thank God—especially if you are going through a challenging time. But Psalm 92:1-2 (NKJV) declares: "It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night."
No matter the situation, always begin with thanksgiving. This act of gratitude opens the gates to God’s realm and brings us closer to His divine counsel.
In the place of thanksgiving, we receive divine understanding and insights that surpass human wisdom. This aligns us with God’s purpose and brings clarity to our circumstances.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) advises: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
Thanksgiving not only grants us access to God’s thoughts but also brings peace and assurance that God is in control, regardless of the challenges we face.
Thanksgiving is a powerful spiritual discipline that opens the gates to God's realm and grants us access to His thoughts. As we maintain a posture of gratitude, we align ourselves with God's will, gain divine insights, and experience His peace.
