Praise and Thanks as a Pathway to Increase

"Let the people praise thee, O God; Let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; And God, even our own God, shall bless us."

- Psalm 67:5-6 (KJV)

Today, we explore manifesting increase through giving God praise and thanks. We can draw inspiration from God's promise in Isaiah 51:2, where He transforms one into many through His blessing.

“Look to Abraham your father And to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; For I called him when he was but one, Then I blessed him and made him many”

- Isaiah 51:2 (AMP)

Let us then think about what we allow to emanate from us. Proverbs 4:23 urges us to ‘diligently watch over our hearts, for from it flow the springs of life’. The essence of our lives is shaped by what we allow through our senses, whether positive or negative, what flows out us can either multiply or diminish it. Initiating the flow of goodness within us begins with gratitude. As Psa 100:4 says (NLT)  "Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name"

The formula for increase is very heavily tied to gratitude and glorification.

As gratitude multiplies, so does God's goodness and blessing (Jeremiah 30:19a). Gratitude is the key to acknowledging the significance of God's presence in every facet of our lives. Even amid life's storms, gratitude sustains us, recognizing that everything unfolds within God's great plan. Psalm 67:5-6 highlights the profound connection between praise, increase, and God's blessings.

Another key to increasing our supplication is found in glorifying God. Blessings and their increase pave the way for honoring God's name. By allowing His goodness to flow abundantly through gratitude and love, we actively participate in glorifying God. Psalm 50:23a emphasizes that giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors God, and 1 Samuel 3:30b assures us that God honors those who honor Him.

The formula for increase is very heavily tied to gratitude and glorification. We must offer thanks sincerely, and understanding these divine principles sheds a light on the profound impact of gratitude. The glory of the Lord, as described in Isaiah 60, comes as a light attracting greatness.

I’ll Give Thanks – Song by TRIBL

Prayer -  Dear Lord, instill in us a thankful heart and the wisdom to trust in Your plan. Remind us of Your constant presence, especially in challenging times, and help us embrace the truth that all things work together for our good. May our gratitude extend to both small and significant blessings. Create in us a heart that seeks Your guidance through Your word, leading us to new opportunities and revealing streams in the wasteland. In Jesus' name. Amen.
