The works of Jesus give us a clear picture of two powerful truths: His dominion over darkness and His heart for our deliverance

Wherever Jesus went, He didn’t just speak about the Kingdom—He demonstrated it. He cast out demons, healed the sick, calmed storms, and brought peace to troubled hearts. He didn’t avoid darkness—He confronted it with authority and demonstrated compassion for the people oppressed by it.

Acts 10:38 says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power… healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” That’s dominion in action. Jesus came not to coexist with oppression but to overthrow it. And when He stepped into people’s lives, deliverance followed—spiritual chains broke, fear lifted, and healing began. Similarly, you are not meant to tolerate or coexists with any form of oppression in your life. Jesus is ready to deliver you and restore you to liberty.

Jesus still moves today. His works are more than historical records; they are living proof that the same Jesus who worked back then is still breaking strongholds today.

Jesus still moves today. His works are more than historical records; they are living proof that the same Jesus who worked back then is still breaking strongholds today. In John 5:36, Jesus says, “The very works that I do bear witness of Me.” That means His works continue to speak—calling us to believe, to receive, and to walk in freedom.

Jesus. Is. Lord. Halleluyah!

So if there’s any area in your life where darkness has lingered—whether it’s fear, shame, sickness, or spiritual heaviness—know this: Jesus has dominion, and He brings deliverance. Invite Him in. Let His power speak into your situation.

Song of Worship

There is power in the name of Jesus
To break every chain, break every chain, break every chain.

Prayer : Jesus, I invite Your dominion into every part of my life. Destroy every work of darkness around me and within me. Bring deliverance where there’s been bondage, and let Your light shine in every shadow. May my life be a testimony of Your power and love. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
