“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it”
– Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)
In life, what you carry is more important than what you have. We live in a world that constantly measures people by visible things like money, possessions, titles, achievements but a poor man is not a man without money. A poor man is a man without a blessing. This means you can have a lot and still be empty and you can have very little and still be positioned for increase.
A man with a blessing, even with a stick, has everything required to generate wealth. Let us look at the life of Jacob, he left home with almost nothing, just a staff in his hand. No inheritance. No visible advantage. However, he carried something unseen: the blessing and because of that blessing, everything around him began to change.
Another example, imagine two people entering the same field. One carries fertile seeds, the other carries nothing. Even if the land is the same, the outcome will be completely different. Why? This is because of what they brought into the environment. That’s what the blessing does. It transforms environments. It overrides limitations. It produces results where others struggle. So, the issue is not the land of Canada or wherever you are situated. The issue is what do you carry?
A poor man is not a man without money. A poor man is a man without a blessing.
Sometimes we focus so much on changing our environment, looking for better opportunities, better locations, better conditions. However, God is saying, before you change where you are, make sure you understand what you carry because when the blessing is present, even difficult places begin to respond differently. When the blessing rests on your life, it begins to speak for you. It begins to open doors you didn’t force. It begins to preserve what you build. It begins to multiply what you have.
That is the difference. Today, shift your focus from what you lack to what you carry. Ask God to place His blessing upon your life in a deeper way. Be intentional about valuing and pursuing the blessing not just external success. Declare boldly, I carry the blessing of the Lord, and it will produce results in my life in the name of Jesus.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that the blessing is greater than what I have. Help me to value what You place upon my life more than what I can gather around me. Let Your blessing rest on me and produce visible results. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
