Wisdom is not theoretical. It is visible.
When it comes to the deep things of God, wisdom reveals itself through what we say and what we do. Scripture makes this clear: if the rulers had known God’s wisdom, their actions would have been different. Their decision to crucify Christ revealed their ignorance.
What we know determines how we act (including when, what, and where).
We may claim understanding, but our actions reveal the truth. Wisdom shapes behavior. It guides choices. It influences speech.
Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:7, ‘We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery’. Notice the connection. Wisdom is spoken. It is expressed. It cannot remain hidden within us without transforming our words.
Wisdom is not theoretical. It is visible.
In the same way, true wisdom affects our decisions. When divine wisdom governs the heart, responses begin to change. We choose patience instead of impulse, faith instead of fear, and obedience instead of pride.
The Cross seemed foolish to the world, yet it was the highest expression of divine wisdom. Those who acted against Christ believed they were wise, but their actions proved otherwise.
As we grow in the deep things of God, we must examine both speech and conduct. Do our words reflect divine understanding? Do our choices align with eternal wisdom?
As we go about our day, let us ask the Lord to align our actions with revelation. May our speech carry the sound of wisdom. May our conduct reflect heaven’s understanding. Amen!
