“He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”
- Matthew 8:16 (NKJV)
When God speaks, healing flows. The Word of God is not ordinary; it is alive, powerful, and full of His authority. Just as He created the world by speaking, He still sends His Word to restore, to strengthen, and to heal. Sickness does not bow to human reasoning, but it cannot resist the power of God’s Word. This is the power of healing through His Word.
In the ministry of Jesus, we see again and again that the Word brought healing. The centurion in Matthew 8 understood this when he said, “Only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.” He recognized that distance was not a barrier; the Word of Jesus carried healing power that could reach anyone, anywhere.
Too often, we underestimate the Word and overestimate our problems. We worry, we analyze, we look for explanations, yet the answer is already near us — in the Word of God. Every promise of Scripture is loaded with life and healing. When we receive it with faith, speak it over our situation, and refuse to let go, the Word becomes medicine to our bodies and deliverance to our souls.
Healing through His Word is not a past event; it is a present reality.
Perhaps the report you have received looks final. But remember man’s report is not God’s verdict. His Word is higher, stronger, and final. If He has said, “By His stripes you are healed,” then no sickness has the authority to contradict it. The question is, will you align your confession with His Word?
Let us not merely read Scripture but also release it. Speak it over your health, your family, and your future. Healing through His Word is not a past event; it is a present reality. The same Word that healed then still heals today.
