So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life. But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will surely curse You to Your face!””
- Job 2:4-5 (NKJV)

Sickness is the oppression of the devil in our bodies. It is a fierce weapon and a calculated strategy against us. We must not excuse it, accommodate it, or tolerate it. We must resist it completely, for anything that seeks to steal our health is an assault from the enemy.

When Satan attacked Job, he first went after his possessions—his wealth, his livelihood. Job remained steadfast. Then Satan struck Job’s family, and still Job did not curse God. But when Satan touched Job’s health, his true strategy was revealed. He knew that the greatest blow against a man is sickness in his body.

Finances can be restored. Property can be replaced. But our health is so integral to our beings. Without health, every other blessing is threatened. Satan understood this when he declared, “Skin for skin! All that a man has he will give for his life.”

Healing is the triumph of Christ over the enemy’s most vicious weapon.

But praise God—Jesus has defeated sickness. Through Christ, we have healing and victory over every affliction. Acts 10:38 declares, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Healing is the triumph of Christ over the enemy’s most vicious weapon. It is the restoration of health, the removal of oppression, and the destruction of the devil’s works. As 1 John 3:8 says, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”

Every believer can declare victory over sickness. Healing is not just relief—it is divine restoration. It is life. Through Christ, we live in this victory. We walk in health, knowing that the fiercest weapon of the enemy has already been broken.

Song of Worship

Everywhere He went He was doing good,

Almighty Healer, He healed the leapers

When the cripples saw Him they started walking

Everywhere He went my God was doing good

Prayer – Lord, thank You for destroying the enemy’s fiercest weapon. I declare that sickness has no place in my body. I walk in health, wholeness, and victory over sickness in Jesus’ name. Amen
