One of the many dimensions of the deep things of God is revealed in the way wisdom is transferred from one person to another.
Joshua did not live through all of Moses’ experiences. He did not personally witness every struggle from the beginning. Yet, Scripture declares he was full of the spirit of wisdom. How? Because something spiritual was transferred.
This reveals a powerful mystery: God can bridge experience gaps through impartation.
Human learning takes time. Years are required to accumulate lessons. Yet, the Spirit of God can accelerate understanding. What might take decades to learn through trial can be accessed through divine wisdom.
This is not a replacement for growth, but a divine advantage. When the spirit of wisdom rests upon a believer, discernment sharpens, decisions become clearer, direction becomes steadier.
God can bridge experience gaps through impartation.
The wisdom of God, ordained before the ages, is not distant. It can rest upon us; it can guide us in moments where experience alone would fail.
Impartation is not about imitation; it is about participation in grace. Joshua did not become Moses, but he carried the wisdom needed for his assignment.
As we walk in the deep things of God, we must remain open to the Spirit’s work. We must value spiritual alignment and humility. Wisdom flows where there is surrender.
Let us ask the Lord to fill us with the spirit of wisdom. May He bridge gaps in our understanding. May He grant clarity beyond our years, and may we carry grace for the season we are called to lead.
