“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” -Malachi 4:5–6 (KJV) When God sent …

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
–Malachi 4:5–6 (KJV)
When God sent Moses to deliver Israel from Egypt, He didn’t just promise freedom — He revealed a new dimension of His name. In this moment of coming deliverance, He said: “I am Jehovah.”
Jehovah was more than a title. It was the covenant name tied to miraculous intervention, justice, and unmatched power.
From that moment, Israel watched God’s power unfold: plague after plague, until Pharaoh was broken and they walked free. Still, the full meaning of Jehovah didn’t sink in until they crossed the Red Sea. Looking back at Pharaoh’s army destroyed, they sang:
“The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is His name.” (Exodus 15:3 KJV)
Jehovah had shown them He wasn’t just a deliverer — He was a warrior. And like any father who fights for His children, He would also teach them to fight. That’s why He led them step by step, from total dependence to learning warfare themselves (Exodus 17 KJV, Psalm 144:1 KJV).
God wants to train you to win battles with Him.
Here’s the lesson:
God doesn’t just want to win battles for you. He wants to train you to win battles with Him.
Today, whatever you face, remember: Jehovah is still a warrior. And if He fights for you, He will also train you to fight. Lift your voice, stand your ground, and shout in faith — the victory is already won.

Prayer – Lord, lift every valley in my family. Bring down every mountain of pride. Make every crooked place straight and every rough place smooth. Reveal Your glory in my home. I break every curse and release blessing, unity, love, and destiny fulfillment over my life and family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
