“Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
- Isaiah 42:9 (KJV)

The Holy Spirit is not idle. He is on a mission from the Father. Many believers understand what Jesus accomplished on the cross, and we rejoice in the love of the Father. But the work continues today through the Holy Spirit. He is the Administrator, the Executor, and the Distributor of God’s love and grace. The Holy Spirit was sent to complete the work of redemption.

So, what does the Holy Spirit want to do?

1. He wants to do new things: According to Isaiah 43:18-19, He calls us to forget the former things and experience the new work He is doing. This newness happens in you (renewed desires and faith), on you (transformed character and choices), with you (as your co-laborer), through you (as a vessel), and among us (as a united body).

2. He wants to do more: The Spirit doesn’t just initiates new work: He also multiplies them. In the early church, Acts 2:41 records 3,000 added in a single day; Acts 4:4, another 5,000; and Acts 5:14, multitudes. He still wants to do more today.

The Holy Spirit is ready to act, but are we ready to align?

3. He wants to do things faster: God is not slow. He is a quick worker. The Holy Spirit redeems time (Ephesians 5:16). When we yield to Him, He accelerates our growth, impact and effectiveness.

4. He wants to do better things: Even if you’ve seen the Spirit of God move before, He desires to outdo Himself. Proverbs 4:18 says The path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day

5. He wants to do a variety of things: The Holy Spirit is creative, multifaceted, and resourceful. From healing the sick to solving business challenges, His work has many

6. He wants to do abiding work: The Spirit’s work is not temporary. He desires to produce lasting fruit in you. In the New Testament, He doesn’t merely visit:

To experience all these, we must yield and deepen our communion with Him. The Holy Spirit is ready to act, but are we ready to align?
