Read Daniel 5:23 (NKJV)
In this life, God never designed man to be self‑sufficient. No matter how intelligent, strong, gifted, or spiritual you may be, every breakthrough you experience will require two indispensable factors: God and people.
The first and greatest indispensable Person is God Himself.
Daniel reminded King Belshazzar that the very breath in his lungs was held in God’s hands (Daniel 5:23). Pause and consider that truth. The One who sustains your life is not optional. Without Him, nothing functions. Scripture declares, “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). If your life rests in His hand, then your future, protection, and success rest there as well. No one rises without God’s help. He is the source, unchanging, sovereign, and supreme.
Yet this is where many believers stop. They acknowledge God but overlook His system.
After God comes people.
Human beings are God’s chosen channels for blessing, wisdom, access, and opportunity. The way you value and treat people profoundly influences how far you go in life. God may be your source, but people are His instruments.
Even Moses who spoke with God face to face needed people. In Exodus 18, it was his father‑in‑law Jethro who gave him the wisdom to delegate leadership and establish structure. Moses heard God directly, yet God used a man to deliver practical insight that transformed an entire nation. God did not bypass Jethro, because He was revealing a timeless truth: no one succeeds alone.
You were never designed to do life in isolation.
Friend, you were never designed to do life in isolation. Many breakthroughs arrive through relationships, through a conversation, a recommendation, or a timely word from someone God sends. This is why pride is so dangerous. Arrogance shuts doors that humility would have opened. The person you overlook today may be the very one God has positioned to lift you tomorrow.
Consider Naaman in 2 Kings 5. He was a mighty general, yet he suffered leprosy – a problem no strength, status, or honor could resolve. His healing came through a chain of human connections. A young slave girl pointed him toward the prophet Elisha. His servants later persuaded him to obey when pride nearly cost him his miracle. Each person played a vital role. Naaman needed God, yes, but he also needed people to lead him to where God’s power was waiting.
In the same way, God will strategically place people in your life, mentors, friends, colleagues, even strangers, to participate in your destiny. Do not despise anyone. Do not assume you can figure everything out on your own. Relationships are divine ladders, and God often uses them to elevate His people.
Sometimes your next level is not about praying harder; it’s about honoring the right connection. That is why humility and discernment are essential. Value people. Listen well. Learn eagerly. Encourage freely. Serve faithfully. As you do, God will align you with destiny helpers who carry the keys to doors you have been praying to see opened.
Beloved, the truth is simple yet profound: you need God, and you need people. When you embrace this reality, you position yourself for grace. God will always remain your source, but He will use people as His channels.
So, treat everyone as potentially divine in purpose, because you never know whom God will use next to usher in your breakthrough.

Love God Love People

Prayer – Father, thank You for holding my life in Your hands. Help me to stay humble and sensitive to the people You’ve placed around me. Teach me to value relationships, to honor those You send, and to recognize Your hand at work through others. I refuse to walk alone — I walk with You and the helpers You provide. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
